KJOL (620 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Christian format. Licensed to Grand Junction, Colorado, USA, the station serves the Grand Junction area. The station is owned by United Ministries.[1]

History

The station was assigned the call sign KSTR on 1994-03-01. On 1994-10-12, the station changed its call sign to KKGM and on 1996-09-02 to KBZS. On 1998-01-30 the station became KKGM and on 1998-08-14 KKGJ. On 1998-12-04 the station returned to KSTR and on 1999-03-15 changed again to KRDY. On 2000-08-07 the station changed back to KSTR, and finally on 2001-04-23 the station became the current call letters: KJOL.[2]

KJOL is also heard on KJYE AM 1400 in Delta, Colorado and KJOL-FM 91.9 in Montrose, Colorado, as well as translators on 99.5 FM in Grand Junction, Colorado and on 91.3 FM in Paonia & Hotchkiss, Colorado.[3]
