Kash Trivedi is an Indian Progressive DJ and Producer.

He has won the 2014 MyFav Award, a special Indian award that is held every year and recognizes local artists,[1] he has also been nominated in the 2nd edition of the Nightlife Awards, in the Best DJ and Best Producer categories.[2]

Trivedi has produced more than 100 EDM international tracks that he has released with international labels.[3]

He currently runs his own record label, called Lohit records.

In the past three years, he has performed in the Sunburn Festival, as well as other related festivals.

Early History

Kash Trivedi was born in Ahmedabad, India. He claims his first contact with electronic music happened during his graduation days. In 1998 he dropped out of college and started working as a health and fitness trainer, while he also tried to start producing his own music.[4]

He claims his biggest influences are Michael Jackson, Queen, Pink Floyd, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Chicane, among others.[5]

Career

He launched his first international record collaboration with Sheeva Records, a US-based company in 2010,[6] that same year he also launched two EPs called Twilight of Aranya and Sax Appeal.[7][8]

In 2011 he launched his first album, called A Journey To India,[9] that included 7 new songs, during that year he also launched several EPs and singles, including Nebula, Torque, and Aroma.[10][11]

In 2012 he launched a remix of a piece called Shillong Nights, originally created by Paul Thomas and Steve Haines,[12] as well as a compilation called Riseup Nights Live From India.[13]

During 2013 he participated in the Sunburn Festival,[14][15] and he also launched several EPs and Remixes like With Your Love and Pixels.[16][17][18]

In 2014 he launched Lohitt Nights,[19] a compilation series that includes more than 30 tracks from different artists, that same year he also collaborated with Paul Thomas and Rusell G to launch a remix called Fiji[20] and participated of the Sunburn Reload Festival.[21][22]

In 2015 he shared the floor with David Guetta during the Enchanted Valley Carnival,[23][24] one of the biggest music festivals of Asia, during that year he also participated in the Global Sound Festival[25][26] and the Hawaiian New Year Celebration in Bangalore.[27]

In 2016, he launched a rework of a track called Sash!, originally produced by the artist Ecuador.[28]

Several artists had mentioned Kash Trivedi as one of their musical influences, including DJ Shaan and DJ Ma Faiza.[29][30]
