Kate Palmer

Kate Palmer is the current Chief Executive Officer of Netball Australia. A leading figure in netball and Australian sport since the early 1990s, Palmer was previously the Chief Executive of Netball Victoria.[1] Palmer is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Deakin University Sport Management Program Advisory Group and the City of Melbourne Sport Grant Review Committee. She was awarded the 2003 Advancing Sport Management Award from Deakin University.[2] She is also a member of the Victorian government-appointed MCG Trust which governs the Melbourne Cricket Ground.[3]
She was awarded the AIS Sport Performance Awards Leadership Award for 2014 with Damien Marangon.[4]
