Kaunissaare is a village in Anija Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia, located south of the town of Kehra, after Lehtmatsa. The settlement is situated around the Kaunissaare Reservoir on the Jägala River. The reservoir is part of the Tallinn water supply system and is connected via canals to the Pirita, Aavoja and Soodla rivers. The node was opened in 1984.[1]
Kaunissaare has a population of 90 as of 1 January 2010.[2]
