Kelly Schembri (born 13 November 1986), also known as Kelly Stelfox, is a Maltese model, singer-songwriter, dancer and actress. She is currently living in London, United Kingdom. She is known for participating in the Maltese national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Love Me Like Your Money".

Life and career

Kelly was born in the United Kingdom. She is agency signed, internationally published and has worked alongside many well-known artists including Jay Sean, Keane & K’naan. With a mixed Mediterranean & British heritage, Kelly has a unique and versatile look which can be used to represent many different cultures. Kelly, who is also known by the name of Kelly Stelfox, is 100% natural & has been reviewed highly by industry professionals.

As singer

She made her debut singing appearance on the Eurovision Song For Malta 2011 with her track "Love Me Like Your Money". Kelly generated huge interest on the island and in Europe and had over 100,000 YouTube hits on her entry within the few weeks running up to the contest. She made it to the finals and although she did not win the competition. However she became the spokesperson of the country in that year. Since the Eurovision, Kelly has been nominated for Best Female Artist at The Malta Music Awards 2011 & performed her new track "Kleptomaniac" at the show. She also very recently went to Number 1 on The Bay Radio Malta Music Charts with her & DJ JJOY's track "Love Hangover".

Kellys latest collaboration in the song "Strip Search" with Stephen Davids & Miami based reggae artist Honorebel.[1][2][3] The video clip was released in April 2013.[4]

Kelly is also now focusing on success back in the UK with her girl group Monroe who are currently writing, recording and putting the finishing touches to their debut EP.[2][5] Monroe have already opened for other artists such as The Noisettes and are excited to start touring the UK & Europe with their new material this year.

As actress and dancer

she also comes from a background of dance & drama, winning a scholarship to a Performing Arts College in the UK. At the age of 17 she moved from her home in Malta and graduated 3 years later with a Diploma in Performing Arts. Since graduating Kelly has appeared in a number of productions including The Channel Five Television Series "Hanrahan Investigates", "The Hot House", upcoming movie "Highway To Dhampus", several TV Commercials, magazine publications, music videos, photographic work, Dancer for Sky Sports 3's UCMMA and more.
