Kenethao District

Kenthao district is located in the south of Sainyabuli Province, Laos. It shares borders with Thailand in the south, Paklai district in the north, Boten district in the west and Xanakham district in the east. Kenthao district is the gateway for the import of goods from Thailand to some of the northern provinces like Luang Prabang. It is also an export port for domestic agricultural products such as maize, peanuts, sesame, rice, casava and many other seasonal crops.
