Khar Danda

Khar Danda is in the western suburbs of Mumbai. Also it is an eponym to Khar Road.[1]

A fishing village older than 299 years, since 1717 January. The original inhabitants of Mumbai lived here for centuries. The western freeway and the coastal road of Mumbai have also proposed to have bridges and passes through this village.This village is divided into many small towns or gaothans, such as Dandpada,Madhalapada,Vetalpada,Kotpada,Patilpada,Varin Pada and many more. Also each of these padas have each one specific gods and goddess for example Harbamauli,Ram mandir,Havloo Baba,Angur baba,Chere dev,Shree Dandeshwar mandir,Maruaai devi & Vetal Dev.{
