The Khazar English-Azerbaijani Comprehensive Dictionary (KEACD),[1] published by the Khazar University Press,[2] is a bilingual dictionary of the English language and the Azerbaijani language.[3]

The first edition of the dictionary is in the process of being published in six volumes. The first three bound volumes of the KEACD were published in 2004-2008, including “A” through “N.” As of November 2010, the remaining volumes are in the process of editing and proofreading. A total of about 250,000 words, phrases and example sentences are included in the dictionary. The main purpose served by the dictionary is to give the correct spelling, pronunciation, and precise translation into Azerbaijani of each entry. Comments are given when needed, and many words are shown in context, demonstrating their stylistic features.
