Kinver (band)

Kinver is an English folk-pop act whose début album The Stone House was officially released on August 19, 2013. The album was made available for download a few months prior to this in March 2013. The Stone House was recorded in Sutton St. Nicholas in Herefordshire, and Rockfield Studios in Monmouth throughout 2012.

It contains ten original songs which are as follows:

  1. The Lights
  2. The Will to Dance
  3. From the Start
  4. Ten Thousand
  5. Silent Void
  6. Turning to Night
  7. Waste in Chains
  8. Lonelier Souls
  9. Basket
  10. Halfway Home

The album was produced by Matt Butler (who has previously worked with many well known musicians including Sir Paul McCartney) and mixed by Jon Kelly (who produced albums by Kate Bush).

The Stone House has been described in reviews as 'an album with an emotional pull and lyrical depth'[1] and 'unashamedly considered, mature, reserved even and all the better for it'[2]
