Kirdaar was an Indian television series aired on Doordarshan directed by Gulzar.[1] It ran between 1993 and 1995, based on short stories written by different writers in different languages, mainly Urdu, Hindi and Bengali writers.[2] The short stories were featured from famous writers like Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi, a celebrated Urdu writer from Pakistan, Malti Joshi in Hindi, and Samaresh Basu in Bengali. It starred Om Puri in 9 episodes, Bhupendra in 4 episodes and Bollywood actress, Nadira, made her debut on TV with the series.
