Kuntur Wachana (Quechua kuntur condor, wacha birth, to give birth, -na a suffix,[2][3] 'where the condor is born', also spelled Cóndorhuachana) is a 5,073-metre-high (16,644 ft) mountain in the Urupampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, Calca District, north of the Willkanuta River. Kuntur Wachana is situated northeast of Wamanchuqi, southeast of Siriwani and Sawasiray, and southwest of Q'irayuq.[4]
