Kuttram 23 is an upcoming Indian Tamil action thriller film co-written and directed by Arivazhagan, and produced by Inder Kumar under Redhan – The Cinema People. The film Stars Arun Vijay and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles. The soundtrack album and background score for the film is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The film is edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan. The film was adapted from a novel written by Rajesh Kumar. The film is expected to release in December 2016.

Production
It was announced that Arun Vijay would act as a cop in a project directed by Arivazhagan which is adapted from the novel of Rajeshkumar. The film is produced by Inder Kumar, production company "Redhan – The Cinema People".[3]
Audio
The audio launch of Kuttram 23 was held on September 1st 2016 at Satyam cinemas. The event was attended by directors Gautham Vasudev Menon, S. P. Jananathan, Magizh Thirumeni, Saravanan, including actors Jayam Ravi, Bharath, Udhay, Srikanth, Mahendran, Riyaz Khan and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan. The event was also attended by Actor Vijayakumar, director Arivazhagan Venkatachalam, producer Inder Kumar, Mahima Nambiyar, Abhinaya, Vamsy Krishna, Aravind Akaash, Amith Bhargav, Suja Varuni, Misha Goshal, Sanjay Asrani, music director Vishal Chandrasekar, D.O.P. K. M. Bhaskaran, Editor Bhuvan Srinivasan, lyricist Viveka and costume designer Heera Arivazhagan.[4] Celebrities appreciated Vishal Chandrasekhar for his music. Actor Vijayakumar thanked director Gautham Menon and actor Ajith Kumar for giving Arun Vijay the recognition and the opportunity to act in Yennai Arindhal. Jeyam Ravi and Gautham Menon praised Arun Vijay for his efforts. Jayam Ravi said that Arun is an actor who has all the qualities of a hero. Gautham mentioned that Arun is a very talented actor and among the actors that he had seen, Arun is the only actor who is capable for performing action sequences without rehearsals.
