La Tour de contrôle infernale (or La Tour 2 contrôle infernale on the billing, often used in the medias[2]) is a French and Belgian movie directed by Éric Judor, released in 2016.
It is a prequel of the film La Tour Montparnasse infernale, directed by Charles Nemes and released in 2001.
Synopsis
The story takes place before the first movie. At the École de l’air of the French commune Salon-de-Provence, Ernest Krakenkrick and Bachir Bouzouk are about to become pilots in the French army. But after the bad consequences of a test undertaken with the centrifuge, they are forced to give up their dream. They are eventually given the position of baggage handler at Orly-West Airport in Paris. But one night, there is a hostage-taking in the airport and the "Moustachious", a group of terrorists, take hold of the control tower. While the Home Secretary tries to make a deal with the criminals, Ernest and Bachir do their best to save the airport...

About the film
- Charles Nemes, director of the first movie, appears briefly as the consultant of the Tour Montparnasse.
- This is the first movie only directed by Éric Judor.
- In the first movie, the characters don't receive any name. In the prequel, we know their fathers' surname but no first name. We also know that Ernest Krakenkrick and Bachir Bouzouk's sons need to go to DASS, but when they are recruited at the Tour Montparnasse, they are promised to become window cleaner as their fathers.
- Eric and Ramzy play the fathers of the two heroes of la Tour Montparnasse Infernale, whereas Marina Foïs is expecting a girl named Stéphanie (or Marie-Joëlle) and acts as her mother. Serge Riaboukine performs the twin brother of Machin, and Lionel Beyeke plays Jean-Peter McCallaway, the father of Peter McCallaway, who is the body-building idol of Ramzy.
