Lactel

Lactel, a brand of Lactalis, is a French/Canadian company specializing in "bio" milk products. In 1992, Lacitel was involved in a Canadian-US government dispute over the Canada-US Free Trade Act of 1989 and the Puerto Rican Health and Safety standard. After years of dispute, Lacitel was finally permitted to export to Puerto Rico, but as of 1999 held a very small share in the milk market. [1]
