Lakhwinder Shabla (also known as Luca Shabla) is a German film producer, storywriter, director and businessman of Indian descent based in Munich, Germany. Lakhwinder is primarily known for his work in Punjabi cinema. Lakhwinder co-produced films such as Vaapsi (2016),[1] Delhi to Lahore (2014),[2] and upcoming German language film titled Kopfwäsche (German for Brainwash) and a Bollywood film titled Raja Abroadiya.[3]
The Punjabi movie, Vaapsi was extensively shot in Punjab, India and Germany and was released on 3 June 2016 in India, USA and Canada[4]
