Law of Property Acts

The Law of Property Acts or the 1925 land reforms commonly refers to a series of Acts of Parliament passed in the United Kingdom to reform the system of land holding, registration and transfer. The principal Acts are,

Law of Property Act 1925
Land Registration Act 1925 (though this has been replaced mostly by the Land Registration Act 2002
Settled Land Act 1925 reformed by TLATA 1996
Trustee Act 1925 reformed by TLATA 1996
Land Charges Act 1925 (referring chiefly local authority schemes and notifications (local land charges), to bankruptcy and to means of imposing encumbrances on unregistered land)
