Law schools in France

Law schools in France may refer to two distinct institutions:

• A faculty of law at a French university, called Faculté de droit (Faculty of Law) or Université de droit (University of Law). For a list of these, see the List of faculties of law in France.
• A law school affiliated with an existing French law faculty, called École de droit or Collège de droit. These are rather exclusive institutions which have been erected and are managed by existing law faculties to provide additional tutoring to their top students, on top of their coursework at the law faculty.
