Le Palais Royal is a nearly 60,000 square foot palace located in Florida. Dubbed Le Palais Royal[1] the mansion has 11-bedrooms and 12 full bathrooms and 6 half baths. The mansion was inspired by the Palace of Versailles, and other European palaces and castles, said Joseph Leone, the designer/developer of the estate.

Designer/Developer Joseph Leone [2] has spent more than ten years designing and developing the castle with the goal of creating “something completely different than what’s been done in America.” With more than $7 million in 22-karat gold leaf, Le Palais has 13 water features—one of which is a 27-foot-tall waterfall— custom marble stairs surrendered with hand made solid wrought iron railing with 22 carat gold leaf that cost over $3 million and over $1 million on Trompe L’oeil and murals. More than 2 million man-hours have been required to build Le Palais Royal and over half million leaves of 22 carat gold leaf have been used in the gold leafing throughout the Palais.

Surrounded by a gate that is decorated with 22-karat gold leaf, the house includes a $3 million marble staircase, a subterranean showroom garage that can accommodate 30 cars and the first-in-the-world 18-seat IMAX private home theater[3] with a 50-foot-wide screen.

There are three master suites and a presidential suite, each with its own Jacuzzi in a windowed circular rotunda (the presidential suite also has a private plunge pool). Outside, there is a 4,500-square-foot infinity pool with salt, chlorine and UV filtering as well as an LED-lit, double-loop waterslide. Suspended above the pool is a glass-bottomed Jacuzzi.

The entire home was built to be soundproof. The home's South African marble floors were insulated specifically so the clacking of high heels will be muted.[4] The house is built with an elaborate security system as well as an air-conditioned room for guard dogs kennels on the lower level. The house sits on close to 4-acres with almost 400 feet of waterfront on both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
