Leggets Lake is located in Waterford Township, Michigan, United States. The 25-acre lake lies south of Walton Blvd. near Clintonville Rd.[1] At its deepest point, the lake is 10 feet deep.[2][3]
Leggets Lake connects to Lake Oakland to the north.[4]
History
Leggets Lake (originally Leggett's Lake) is named for Mortimer Leggett (b.1837-d.1930) who came from New York to Waterford and settled on a 140-acre farm next to the lake that would bear his family name.[5]
Fish
Wormer Lake fish include Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Yellow Perch.[6]
