Leslie Marshall (writer)

Leslie Marshall Weld is an American writer and wife of 2016 Libertarian Party Vice Presidential nominee and former Governor of Massachusetts William Weld.

Marshall was born in Washington, D.C. and attended the National Cathedral School.[1] She and Weld, longtime friends and neighbors, married in 2003. She is the mother of three children from her first marriage.[2]

Marshall has worked as a magazine writer.[1] She is the author of the 2004 novel, A Girl Could Stand Up.[3][4]
