Peder Losnegård (born 26 October 1992), known by the stage name Lido, is a Norwegian rapper, record producer and songwriter.

Career

Losnegård started writing songs and playing the piano. Listening to hip hop music, he developed a melodic "good-guy hip hop" where his musicality and wide background of genres was reflected.

Abandoning previous musical incarnations, Lido emerged as one of the pre-eminent producers of 2014 and 2015, producing the debut album for Halsey[1] and headlining two sold out US tours.[2]

He has performed versions of his original songs and remixes with KORK[3] - the Norwegian Radio Orchestra - and as a remixer he has received high praise for his work with alt-J,[4] Bastille,[5] Banks,[6] The Weeknd,[7] Disclosure[8] and Bill Withers.[9]

He produced the singles "Better" by Banks,[10] and "Angels" by Chance the Rapper.[11]

He also produced the song "Tokyo Narita (Freestyle)", with Halsey on the vocals.
