List of New Jersey tornadoes

• 2013 Bergen County, New Jersey tornado on October 7, 2013, an EF1 tornado touched down in Paramus, with an estimated wind at 100 miles an hour. Most damage was in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, and in the Paramus Golf and Ridgewood Country Clubs.^[1]
• 1992 Washington Township, New Jersey tornado on June 24, 1992.^[2]
• 1990 Montgomery Township, New Jersey tornado on October 18, 1990. Three homes were destroyed and 8 people were injured in Montgomery Township, New Jersey. Was rated an F3.
• 1989 Northeastern United States tornado outbreak on July 10, 1989. Two F0s and an F1 tracked through parts of Passaic County, New Jersey and Bergen County, New Jersey, snapping and uprooting trees, and causing $4 million in damage. About 150 houses were damaged in Bergen county alone.^[3]
• 1973 Flanders, New Jersey tornado on May 28, 1973, a dozen homes were destroyed and 12 people were injured in Flanders, New Jersey.^[4] It was rated an F3.^[5]
• 1899 Elizabeth, New Jersey tornado on August 1, 1899 in Elizabeth, New Jersey.^[6]
• 1892 Gloucester, New Jersey tornado on July 1, 1892 in Gloucester, New Jersey.^[7][8]
• 1835 New Brunswick, New Jersey tornado of June 29, 1835.^[9]
