List of Oxford and Cambridge Universities cricket team players

This is a complete list in alphabetical order of cricketers who have played for the combined Oxford and Cambridge Universities cricket team (OCU) in top-class matches since 1839.[1] The team has always had important or first-class status and is classified as an important team by the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians and other sources from 1839 to 1894;[2][3] classified as an official first-class team from 1895 by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and the County Championship clubs.[4] It has never played a limited overs match so is not classified List A.

The team was generally composed of current students but there were four matches between 1874 and 1893 in which it was a Past and Present combination with the title adjusted accordingly.[5] The 41 players who took part in those matches are included in this list.

The details are the player's usual name followed by the years in which he was active as an OCU player and then his name is given as it appears on match scorecards (i.e., usually his surname preceded by all initials). Note that many players represented other first-class teams besides OCU. The last time the combined team played was in 1992.
