List of Pakistan Super League captains

This is a list of Pakistan Super League captains, that is players who have acted as captain in at least one match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) since its first season in 2016. In cricket, a player who leads the cricket team is known as its captain.[1] Each team usually has one nominated captain, although if that player is not participating in a match another player will deputise for them.

Five teams competed in the first season of the league. Quetta Gladiators captain, Sarfraz Ahmed, won the most (seven) matches and was the most successful captain, but still failed to capture the title after his team lost the final to Islamabad United, a team which was led by Pakistan's most successful Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq.[2]
