This list of primary and secondary schools in Ilagan City is sorted by districts under the division of city schools in Ilagan City. It includes both public and private primary and secondary that are currently in operation.

Its present administration is headed by Dr. Denizon P. Domingo[1] as acting city schools division superintendent of DepEd Ilagan City.

Schools in Ilagan City were originally group into three districts, namely: Ilagan East District, Ilagan South District and Ilagan West District under the Division of Isabela. Under its current head, the schools are now grouped into six districts, namely: Ilagan North District, Ilagan Northwest District, Ilagan East District, Ilagan South District, Ilagan West District and San Antonio District. However, the move to create these additional three districts is unofficially recognized by the Regional Office of the Department of Education.
