The Great Atantic & Pacific Tea Company filed chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2015, the company decided to close all of its stores such as A&P, Pathmark, Waldbaums, Superfresh, The Food Emporium, and Food Basics. All stores were either closed or sold to other chains, with Acme taking the largest number.
