Little Sun is a social enterprise that produces solar powered LED lamps.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]

It was founded in 2012 by artist Olafur Eliasson and engineer Frederik Ottesen.

In April 2014 the company received a USD $5 million investment from Bloomberg Philanthropies.[13][14][15][16]
