Liu Jiayi (Chinese: 刘家义; pinyin: Liú Jiāyì; born August 1955) is the current auditor general of the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China.

Biography

Born in Kai County, Chongqing, he graduated from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. After college, he was assigned to work in the audit office of Sichuan Province. In 1988, he was promoted to a position in the National Audit Office. In September 1996, after completing one-year training for young cadres at the Communist Party of China Central Party School, Liu was appointed to the post of vice auditor general. Following the retirement of Li Jinhua, he was promoted to his current position of auditor general of the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China in March 2008. He is a senior auditor and member of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.He was conferred the Grand Decoration of Honor in Gold with Sash on May 25, 2016.[1]
