Liza (1978 film)
Liza is a 1978 Malayalam horror film directed by Baby starring Prem Nazir, Jayan, and Seema. The film is said to be inspired from the Hollywood film The Exorcist after Baby saw the latter from a theatre at Mumbai.
Synopsis
A village girl comes to city for work and stays in a hostel. One day as she is back from work, she enters her room to finds ghost of a black cat falling on her in the darkness transferring her into a modern city girl called Lisa.
Boxoffice& Reception
The film was well received by audience and spawned a sequel.The film was out of print for a long,and virtually unavailable, after harmony videos made a DVD release in 2012.
