Lonnie Park is a Grammy-nominated musician and composer, studio and live musician, producer, business entrepreneur, and author.
Music career
Lonnie is a professional musician, accomplished recording and performing artist, 2013 Grammy nominated album composer and keyboardist. He is best known as a vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter, but has appeared as engineer, producer, and playing a wide variety of instruments. Along with his solo career, and various collaborations, Lonnie is the lead singer of the band Ten Man Push. With many national tours under his belt, and consistently playing live over two hundred times each year, Lonnie is a solid performer both live and in the studio. With both signed and independent acts, Lonnie has been in demand for his wide range of talents. In addition to being front man for the band Ten Man Push,'The Official Band of American Motocross'.[1] Lonnie's work received a 2013 Grammy Nomination for “Best Pop Instrumental Album of the Year”. On this album, Arun Shenoy's"Rumbadoodle",[2] Lonnie was a composer and played piano and keyboards. With a constant stream of projects and collaborations, his catalog of works is constantly growing. In 2016 Lonnie appears as a composer and performer on both Action Moves People United which charted on Billboard at #8, and on Ricky Kej's album Shanti Samsara World Music For Environmental Consciousness. His work with Ricky Kej expands beyond this album and into a variety of commercial and philanthropic projects from Toyota and GE to UNICEF and climate change initiatives. Lonnie performed with Ricky at the general assembly of the United Nations for the 2016 NOVUS Summit addressing the collective issues of our world.
Business career
In 1992, Lonnie and business partner opened “The Ultimate Music Center” in Cortland NY.[3] This business was a large retail music store, professional recording studio, and pro-audio business. He became known as the “Master of Sound” in central NY. He composed a book for his customer base titled “Church Sound Systems”[4] which was picked up by international publishing giant Hal Leonard Publishing.[5] The retail business was closed after the passing of his business partner in 2010. Lonnie then formed the company “Ultimate Sound LLC”, which continues to design and install industrial sound systems. After 2010, his recording studio and music production business were his primary focus.
