Occupation Actress

Lori Cardille (born July 6 1954) is an American actress, best known for her lead role in George A. Romero's Day of the Dead (1985). Her father, Bill "Chilly Billy" Cardille, appeared as a reporter in the original Night of the Living Dead (1968).

She is well known for her role as Winter Austin #1 on the ABC soap opera The Edge of Night. She left that role because it reminded her of a past memory in which she was a victim of sexual abuse.[1] She later joined the cast of the soap opera Ryan's Hope. She is the author of the book I'm Gonna Tell: ...an Offbeat Tale of Survival (ISBN 978-0595142033). Cardille has recently starred in a short horror film called The Three, which reunited her with her Day of the Dead co-star John Amplas. In the film, Amplas and Cardille play a pair of scientists, as they did in Day.

Her daughter is actress Kate Rogal.
