Lucius Junius Caesennius Paetus
Lucius Junius Caesennius Paetus (c. 45 - after 94) was a Roman office holder who served as Consul Suffectus in 79. Other offices he held include governor of Syria in 70-72, and Proconsul of Asia in 93/94.[1]
Caesennius was the son and namesake of Lucius Caesennius Paetus and wife Flavia. He had a son with the same name, Lucius Junius Caesennius Paetus, born c. 65, who married Arria Antonina, born c. 70, a maternal aunt of Antoninus Pius, and had a son Lucius Caesennius Antoninus.[2]
