Luize Valente (born 24 January 1966, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian writer, documentary filmmaker and journalist.
Biography
Luize Valente currently works at Globo News (Globo TV cable channel).
Her first novel, The Secret of the Shrine, is a historical romance that reveals Brazilian's Jewish roots through the saga of a "New Christian" family that crosses three centuries. It is published in the Netherlands and a real sales success in Brazil.
