MC Luscious
MC Luscious (born Rosalyn McCall)[1] is an American bass music recording artist from Miami, Florida.[2]
Background
The MC Luscious hit song "BOOM! I Got Your Boyfriend" became a hit back in 1991 after being formed by Steve Tempo (cousin of MC Luscious) and Danny D, two students in Fort Lauderdale, Florida who met while studying music production. Having formed music group The Boys From the Bottom, they got a record contract and made a tune called "BOOM! I Got Your Girlfriend". Since at that time, "comeback" records were popular, they convinced MC Luscious to do a new rendition from the female perspective.[1]
