MOVE IT is the UK's leading annual dance event.[1] It attracts 20,000 visitors each year to a four-day event at Olympia, London.

History

MOVE IT was first held in London in 2005, the creation of Georgina Harper, who as of 2011 was still the Creative Director of MOVE IT.[2] The show was initially put on by Jonathan Scott/Value Added Events Ltd. In 2007, the show was bought by Upper Street Events. It is now managed by Daniel Holmes and Shirry Liram.

Program and Features

The creative program is managed by Georgina Harper and includes 100 performances, 260 dance classes, 26 masterclasses, a freestyle stage, dance competitions, castings, auditions, dance celebrities, fashion shows and more.

Awards

MOVE IT won an Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Award for best Best Consumer Show under 2000 square metres for the 2009 event.
