Mabel Love (band)

Mabel Love were an indie rock band based in Sheffield. Formed back in 2009, Mabel Love spent the early months holed in their practice room looking to find a sound which not only suited their influences, but also suited them as a band. This sound has since developed into a dark, moody post punk / rock sound with driving rhythms, abrasive chords and distorted vocals.

The band split up on 24 October 2011.

Recent activity

Mabel Love have just completed a sold out UK tour with Miles Kane and have also recently supported Arctic Monkeys at one of their hometown Don Valley Bowl gigs, in front of more than 10,000 people. Band member, George Moran, now performs Backing Vocals and Rhythm Guitar with Kane as part of his band.
