Machairophora fulvipuncta is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Hampson in 1893 from Maskeliya area. It is known from Sri Lanka.[1]
Description
Wingspan is about 20mm. In male, head, collar and tegula are orange yellow in color. Thorax dark brownish with few orange scales. Abdomen and wings are very dark brown. Fore wings with a dusky yellow patch at center of inner margin present. Female is wingless.[2]
