Madres egoístas (English title: Selfish mothers) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Juan Osorio for Televisa in 1991.[1]
Julieta Rosen, Enrique Novi and Orlando Carrio starred as protagonists, Chantal Andere starred as co-protagonist, while María del Sol and Alberto Mayagoitia starred as the main antagonists.
Plot
This is the story of Rachel Rivas Cantú, a young orphaned heir to a fortune who is raised by her love of Mariana keys, which for years has hated secret because of a past and a life which she says was stolen by the Cantú Rivas. Rachel will marry Paul, an honest widower with a daughter Carmen.
Eventually Rachel and Paul have another daughter, Mariana suspect Paul is not the person who appears to be, available to Gaby's daughter from his marriage to Rachel in the care of a babysitter with the proviso that never comes close to Mariana her last four years of happiness INMESA fate wants Paul dies of heart attack leaving Rachel and Gaby alone and in the deepest sadness.
By always giving you bad advice Mariana, Rachel internal Gaby at a private school where a chance encounter with his daughter Carmen Pope both grow together without knowing that they are sisters. Mariana his son Philip are together make life of Rivas Cantu is as black as your soul, but several characters that give a twist to this wonderful story of love, betrayal and revenge appear.
