Magurchara Punji
Magurchara Punji is a tribal village located in Sreemangal Upazila, Maulvibazar District, Bangladesh.[1] It is located on the Srimangol–Kamalganj Highway. As of 2006, Magurchara Punji had nearly 40 households. It is the larger of the two villages located within Lawachara National Park, the other being Lawachara Punji.[2] They are inhabited by the Khasi ethnic minority.[3]
Flora and fauna
Punji and has green hills. Gibbons and birds live in the forest of the Lawachara National Park. Tea plantations are located in the area surrounding the national park.[1]
