Mangalya (Kannada: ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ) is a 1991 Indian Kannada family drama film directed by B. Subba Rao and produced by D. Rama Naidu.[1] The film is based on the novel Jeevana Tarangalu written by Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani which was originally made in Telugu with the same title name in 1973 and in Hindi as Dil Aur Deewar in 1978.[2]
The film features Malashri, Sridhar, Sunil and Vani Viswanath in the lead roles.[3] The film was received well and declared superhit at the box-office. The film's music was composed by Rajan-Nagendra and the audio was launched on the Lahari Music banner.
