Maria mole (Brazilian Portuguese: [ma'ɾiɐ 'mɔli]; literally, "soft Mary") is a dessert popular in Brazil that is similar to a marshmallow. Maria mole's base ingredients are sugar and gelatin. Sometimes, egg whites are also added. The most popular flavor is coconut, but others such as strawberry also exist.
