Maria Hines

Maria Hines is a Seattle restaurateur and James Beard Award-winning chef. Hines was awarded Best Chef: Northwest by James Beard Foundation in 2009[1] and Outstanding Chef semi-finalist in 2013. She is considered a pioneer of organic and Pacific Northwest cuisine,[2] and was a notable proponent of Washington Initiative 522 which would have required labeling of genetically modified food.[3]

Hines has appeared on Iron Chef America[4] Top Chef Masters,[5] and Martha.[6]
