Martin Kilduff

Martin Kilduff is Professor of Management in the UCL School of Management. Currently, he is associate editor of Administrative Science Quarterly. Previously he was editor of Academy of Management Review. Prior academic appointments include Diageo Professor of Management Studies at Cambridge University, Kleberg/King Ranch Centennial Professor of Management, University of Texas at Austin, Professor of Management at Penn State, and Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Insead.

Martin Kilduff grew up in the Camden Town area of London, England. He attended Primrose Hill primary school followed by Quintin grammar school. His higher education was pursued in the U.S. He received his BA and MBA from Washington State University and his MS and PhD from Cornell University.

Professor Kilduff's research focuses on social networks and includes the co-authored books Social Networks and Organizations (Sage: 2003); and Interpersonal networks in organizations: Cognition, personality, dynamics and culture (Cambridge University Press: 2008). His research relates personality to network structure (e.g., Journal of Applied Psychology, 2008), perceived networks to actual networks (e.g., Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, 2008), and proposes new theory concerning scientific innovation (e.g., Academy of Management Review, 2011).
