Masaaki Yanagishita (柳下 正明 Yanagishita Masaaki, born January 1, 1960) is a former Japanese football player and manager.

Club career

Born in Hamamatsu, Yanagishita played as a central defender for Yamaha Motors during their 1980s glory years, making a total 135 League appearances for the club.

He previously managed Júbilo Iwata (twice) and Consadole Sapporo. While in his second spell at Júbilo, he managed the side that won the 2010 J. League Cup.[1]

After three seasons and a half with Albirex Niigata, the manager was released in November 2015, before the end of the season.[2]
