The McCann’s skink, Oligosoma maccanni, is a species of skink native to New Zealand.[1]
Habitat
The McCann’s skinks preferred habitat is open montane grassland, dry rocky areas, sand dunes and screes.[2]
Conservation status
As of 2012 the Department of Conservation (DOC) classified the McCann’s Skink as Not Threatened under the New Zealand Threat Classification System.[1]
