Michael Richard Dobson (born August 12, 1966) is an English-born Canadian voice actor, who works for Ocean Studios and various other studios in British Columbia, Canada. He is best known for voicing Starscream in the Transformers Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Energon and Cybertron), Nappa in the Ocean dub of Dragon Ball Z, Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: Spy Troops and G.I. Joe: Valor vs. Venom, Blob in X-Men: Evolution, Leonardo in Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, Bulk Biceps in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Pythor in Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, as well as voicing many other characters in animated shows and anime dubs. He is the brother of Paul Dobson and Brian Dobson, who are also voice actors.[1] He owns a voice recording studio Makena Sound Ltd. in South Surrey, British Columbia.
Dobson is a trustee of Flute Theatre, a touring theatre company which performs the works of William Shakespeare to interactive audiences mainly composed of people who could not ordinarily access the performing arts such as children with autism and their families.[2]
