Michael Sullivan (born 18 June 1980, in Taree, New South Wales) is an Australian retired professional rugby league footballer of the 2000s. He played in the NRL for the Northern Eagles, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Bulldogs clubs, as well as in Super League for the Warrington Wolves, usually at hooker.
Sullivan joined the Wolves following a highly publicised revelation that he had a gambling addiction for many years and the lucrative contract he was offered by the Super League club would go a long way in paying off his gambling debts.
Sullivan returned to the NRL in 2008 to play with the Bulldogs on a two-year contract.
After finishing his contract with the Bulldogs Sullivan signed as Captain/Coach for the Orange Cyms in Group 10 Country Rugby League.
Michael has since gone on for a successful campaign with the Orange CYMS. He is well known for his ability to come 2nd to his older brother Scott in many events, and also invest a lot of his spare time in promoting his favourite charity , foreskinsrus.org.au.
Off the field
One of rugby league's pin-up players, Sullivan was selected as one of Cleo magazine's 50 Most Eligible Bachelors for 2001, and was a finalist in the Sexiest Man In Rugby League competition in 2001 and 2005. He was also the male centrefold in Cleo magazine for the October 2005 issue.
Sullivan posed with former Bulldogs teammates Nick Youngquest and Daniel Holdsworth for the Gods Of Football charity calendar.
