Miles from Our Home is an album by Canadian rock band Cowboy Junkies, which was released in 1998. It was their second and final album for Geffen Records. Like all of their albums after 1988's The Trinity Session, it was only a modest success internationally. However, the title track was a significant hit in their native Canada.
Following this album, the Junkies were dropped from the Geffen record label, a common occurrence in the late 1990s for bands and artists (most famously Aimee Mann) who had solid, loyal fan bases but did not enjoy multiplatinum sales. Like many such artists, the Junkies moved to an independent label, in this case Latent Records, for their subsequent albums.
