Monognathus ahlstromi, the paddletail onejaw, is an ocean dwelling, eel-like fish found in the North Pacific Ocean off of the coast of US. They are found up to a depth of 2000 m.[3][4] They are nonguarders of their young.[4] Little information is currently known about their habits or full distribution.
Description
The dorsal and anal fins of Monognathus ahlstromi lack bony supports.[5]
