Mu Zeng

Mu Zeng (Chinese: 木增，September 19, 1587 – September 9, 1646), also called A-chai A-ssu, which was his Nakhi name, was a Tusi ruling Lijiang(Chinese: 麗江) between 1600 and 1620. His father was Mu Qing (Chinese: 木青), his mother was Ashijia (Chinese: 阿室加). When he throned, he was only 11 years old. He was good at Chinese literature and wrote many Anthologys.[1][2]

In 1624, he announced his privacy and gave his position to his son Mu Yi(Chinese: 木懿, Yi in Chinese means that a person who is moral).[2]

In 1640, when Xu Xiake (Chinese: 徐霞客) came to Lijiang, he was welcomed by Mu Zeng.[3]
